Flooding in Western Germany
We have been advised the Rhine Valley line between Cologne, Germany and Basel, Switzerland is closed South bound, blocking trains traveling to Italy, and partially closed North bound, causing delays due to congestion on the line.
These closures will inevitably cause further delays on units already railed, as well as any which have been loaded or are scheduled to load.
We are working closely with the rail operators to ascertain when the rail lines are likely to fully reopen and we will keep you informed.
