High Winds

Stronger winds are currently being experienced at the Ports of Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway and Liverpool and are expected to continue into Thursday 14.04.2023.

Ports will cease crane and lifting operations once windspeeds reach 45 mph. Should this happen, and your shipments be directly affected, we will advise you accordingly.

With higher windspeeds being forecast, ports may reduce Vehicle Booking Slots in preparation for the adverse weather impacting on port productivity with the Port of Felixstowe withdrawing all VBS slots over the night of 11.04.2023.

Neptune will continue working closely with our hauliers to mitigate any delays to scheduled deliveries and keep you notified of any impact on your consignments.

Please note, any charges that may be incurred due to adverse weather will remain for the account of the importer.
