High Winds This Week Hampering Operations

High winds are forecast in the UK this week at some of the major ports.

These winds are forecast at the Ports of Felixstowe, Southampton and Liverpool over the course of this week.

At their strongest the winds at Felixstowe are expected to be in excess of 50 mph.

Southampton and Liverpool Ports are forecast to see winds that could reach and exceed 45 mph.

Felixstowe, Southampton and Liverpool will cease crane and port operations once the windspeeds reach 45 mph.

With these conditions forecast until Saturday 14th December 2019 there is a risk of the ports closing several times over the course of this week.

These closures may have an impact on deliveries and container restitution. Should your shipments be affected in any way we will update you asap.
