Italian ‘Green Pass’ Requirements
The Italian Government has announced that from 15th October 2021 all individuals will need to present a ‘Green Pass’ in order to be able to enter the workplace.
This has been extended to include Truck Drivers who will need to show this pass in order to load and unload on sites in Italy.
The pass is to show if the individual has been vaccinated against Covid-19 or has recovered from infection, this should also reflect if a negative test, either antigen or PCR, has been carried out in the preceding 48 hours.
If a pass cannot be presented drivers will not be allowed access to sites to load or unload goods.
This could cause disruptions to all collections across Italy. To minimise delays caused by the new regulations, we are placing preventative measures with our logistics partners to ensure they meet with these requirements, however this could result in less drivers being available
