As we approach the annual summer shutdown period, please be advised that many manufacturing facilities across Europe—particularly in Italy—will undergo a planned temporary suspension of production operations. Most Italian sites are expected to close from 11.08.25 to 25.08.25.

 Additionally, heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driving restrictions will be enforced across Italy throughout July and August, affecting Saturdays, Sundays, and occasionally Fridays. These restrictions may impact transit schedules and delivery timelines.

 Given these conditions and the anticipated increase in shipment volumes during this period, transit times may be slightly extended. However, we remain fully committed to delivering your goods as promptly and reliably as possible.

 Therefore, Neptune Shipping Agency will continue to operate its Container, Trailer, and Multimodal services across Italy and the wider European network without interruption.

 To help us maintain service efficiency, we kindly recommend the following:

•  Ensure consignments are ready for collection early in the week to avoid weekend driving restrictions.

• Place orders well in advance of the shutdown period to minimise the risk of delays.

• For consignments available during the shutdown, we will make every effort to collect and deliver within standard transit times, although some delays may be unavoidable.

 Despite the seasonal disruptions and increased freight volumes, we are fully committed to maintaining the high service standards you expect from us.
