Storm Darcy and Port Closures at Felixstowe
The Port of Felixstowe has closed today and could remain closed until midday tomorrow at the earliest due to the heavy snow fall that has struck the East and other parts of the country.
Yellow weather warnings for snow are in place for most of the UK with there also being several also issued for ice.
Felixstowe has advised that it will reopen operations once it is safe to do so and will continue to issue updates on the situation.
These closures and the adverse weather may have an impact on deliveries and container restitution. Should your shipments be affected in any way we will update you as soon as possible.
