TSP Are You Registered?
TSP (Transitional Simplified Procedures) is the frictionless solution for UK imports. You only need to quote your UK EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) number at the border once you have registered for a TSP number.
The aim with TSP is to make importing easier for an initial period of one year to allow businesses time to prepare for usual import processes.
Once businesses are registered for TSP, they will be able to transport goods from the EU into the UK without having to make a full customs declaration at the border and will be able to postpone paying any import duties.
HMRC have stated that being TSP registered will reduce the amount of information you need to give at the border too.
