Typhoon Wipha

A Typhoon warning has been issued in Hong Kong today as Typhoon Wipha makes its way closer to the city over the course of the day.

The typhoon, currently around 300km from Hong Kong is forecast to move northwest towards Guangdong.

Hong Kong Observatory has issued a Typhon Signal number 8, the highest so far this year for the city.

This could potentially cause delays to shipments from South West China due to terminal gate closures and vessel sailings being delayed.
