TRE (Trade Reporting & Extract) – Are You Compliant?

Since 31st March 2026, HMRC’s TRE service is now the only way to access your customs declaration data.

If your EORI is on an entry, you are responsible for its accuracy, even where an agent submits on your behalf.

What you should be doing:

✔ Download your TRE data via Government Gateway

✔ Review declarations regularly

✔ Check classification, value & origin

✔ Correct any errors promptly

HMRC are using this data to target audits and assess risk.

Important:

Agents cannot access TRE directly; data must be accessed by the importer.
