World Bee Day 20th May 2026

Today we’re celebrating World Bee Day, a global moment to recognise the essential role bees and other pollinators play in our environment and food systems.

Bees may be small, but their impact is huge.

Around one third of the food we eat relies on pollination, and bees are among the most important contributors.

From fruit and vegetables to seeds and wild plants, pollinators support biodiversity, ecosystems, and long‑term sustainability.

World Bee Day is a reminder that even small actions can make a difference, whether that’s planting pollinator‑friendly flowers, reducing pesticide use, or simply raising awareness of how vital these insects are to life on Earth.

Today, we’re proud to join others in recognising the importance of protecting bees and the natural world they support.
