India Lock Down

Neptune has been advised that the Indian authorities have introduced state shutdowns across India until 31.03.2020 in an attempt to limit the spread of Coronavirus.

This has come following the temporary curfew introduced on Sunday 22.03.2020 to test India’s ability to fight the virus.

These shutdowns will impact on all non-essential industries and will also see long distance trains be suspended. It has also seen the Taj Mahal and the historic Red Fort shut their doors to the public to prevent the spread.

The lock down is due to be reviewed on 31.03.2020 when it will either be lifted or extended.

We will continue to monitor this situation, and should your shipments be affected in any way we will advise as soon as possible.
